Ferns' artistic practice is characterised by a diverse range of materials and techniques. Through the layering of thick linens, muslins, plaster, and wax, she creates a distinct textural surface. Ferns draws inspiration from her surroundings and past experiences, blending memory and materiality to create a sense of personal history in her pieces.

I have always been intrigued by the diverse cultural heritage and unique traditions of different countries. I'm excited to present my collection that highlights the beauty and variety of traditional techniques from Teotitlán del Valle, Mexico. Please take your time to explore and appreciate the intricate details in each piece
